Every spring we attempt to go to the zoo, and every year in the spring half of the exhibits are closed. So this year we wised up and went in the fall. Marty took the day off and he headed out. It was a really nice day. They kids loved all the animals and it was surprisingly managable. We only had one problem and that was the nightmares that Ben had about the "snake behind the glass!" It was a great day to spent with the family. (Well except for the drive home, right Mart?)

Looks like a lot of fun! One thing I miss living here is not having zoo close enough to have a little trip like yours. I can't believe you could do it with the babies. Way to go!
Fun! We didn't get to go to the zoo this year. Maybe next year I guess. Your Pictures are cute.
you look absolutely fabulous!! I'm glad it went well. I bet the "little kids" love it!! But, know I'm wondering what happened on the way home....?
Yes i'm also wondering about the ride home...you left that part out when we talked on the phone !!! Cute pictures...all the sudden they seem to be growing up so fast !!!
Your kids are so big and so cute! I need to see them soon!! Thats it im really coming over for sunday dinner!!
Now I see why you said it takes you all day to blog. I bet it was a lot of fun, but a lot of work!
I love the zoo, I am so impressed that you guys get out so much with all the kids- and that they are so well behaved. I need to get some parenting tips from you! I bet the babies (I guess they aren't really babies, but I can't get away from calling them that) loved it!
